Illustrated Man Creative Presentation Illustrated Man Creative Presentation Students will re-create a story from ILLUSTRATED MAN. They should prepare to read/perform their story to the class. In this story, students will demonstrate their ability to understand what drives the plot and builds suspense. The story will be presented to the class along with visual and audio cues to assist with the story. Characterization	Excellent The character(s) is/are clearly developed and consistent through appropriate intonation, dress, diction, and mannerisms.	Good The character(s) is/are clearly developed through appropriate intonation, dress, diction, and mannerisms, but sometimes does not make sense in the story, or is out of character	Fair The character(s) is/are somewhat developed, but sometimes does not make sense in the story. Setting/Point of View	Excellent Use of setting is clear. viewer is able to distinguish when a change of setting is present or has occurred .Point of view is clear, use of first person, or third person is easily detected by the reader.	Good Use of setting is somewhat clear, at times is difficult for viewer to clearly identify setting. Point of view somewhat clear, and use of first or third person is hard to identify.	Fair Use of setting is unclear, it is difficult for the viewer to identify setting in the story. Point of view is unclear at times, shifts in dialogue (first or third) hard for viewer to follow. Plot	Excellent Story focuses on at least one well defined problem/conflict, a climax and an engaging ending.	Good Story has a problem/conflict, a climax, and an acceptable resolution. Pretty straightforward with some creativity.	Fair Story has a problem and solution, but the problem never reaches a climax. Or the stroy has a problem and a climax but it not fully developed. Creativity	Excellent Story includes dialogue and plently of details (literary devices) that give the viewers images in their mind while watching the story presentation. Story is a successful horror/suspense story that creatively follows Bradbury's story.	Good Story includes dialogue and some details (literary devices) that give the viewers images in their mind while watching the story. Story is a horror/suspense story that follows Bradbury, but leaves out elements that bring the story to life.	Fair Story includes dialogue and very little details (literary devices) that give the viewers images in their mind while watching the story. Story is a horror/suspense story that lacks imaginiation, creativity.	Needs Improvement Story is told with no details (literary devices) that give the viewer images in the mind while watching the story.
