Characterization Essay Rubric 
Choose two techniques that the author uses to indirectly describe one of the characters in the novel. This would include: Speech, Thoughts, Effects (relationships), Actions, Looks of the character. Provide specific examples using at least 2 cited quotations from the text. Each paragraph should have at least two specific examples of the technique.
