Key events	Poor Does not touch upon any key events	Fair Touches only upon peripheal events	Good Mentions or revolves around key events in the act.
Requirements	Poor Meets no requirements of the journal type	Fair Meets some requirements of the journal type	Good Meets all requirements of the journal type
Insight	Poor Draws no conclusions and makes no insights into the text	Fair Draws partial conclusions, or touches upon surface details of the text	Good Reads deeper into the text, tries to make a conclusion that requires thought and not just surface details
Peer review	Poor No comments or overly negative comments w/out suggestions for improvement are given.	Fair One or two one-word comments are given, or comments are made, but not with suggestions for improvement.	Good Insightful and meaningful feedback is given, comments are made that can help the journal writer improve his or her work.
