A Day in the Life... Point of View Writing Assignment Students will write about a historical event from the point of view of someone who experienced the event. They will write in the first person and choose from a variety of formats for their writing. Setting	Underdeveloped The setting has been identified but there is minimal description.	Proficient The setting has been identified and there is some description.	Highly Developed The setting is clear and has been described in detail.
Historical Facts	Underdeveloped The work identifies one or two historical facts with limited analysis.	Proficient The work clearly identifies at least 3-5 historical fact and discusses them in context or identifies 2 historical fact without discussing them in context.	Highly Developed The work clearly identifies 6-8 historical facts and discusses them in context.
Language	Underdeveloped The writing contains multiple grammatical errors.<BR> The writing lacks focus.	Proficient The writing is focused and contains few grammatical err	Highly Developed The writing is well focused and creative.
