	Does not Meet Standard 1 pts	Needs Improvement 2 pts	Meets Standard 3 pts	Exceeds Standard 4 pts
Solfege / pitch	Does not Meet Standard There are numerous wrong pitches.	Needs Improvement There are several wrong pitches. (3-4)	Meets Standard There is one/two wrong pitches.	Exceeds Standard Notes are sung accurately.
Rhythm	Does not Meet Standard There are numerous wrong rhythms.	Needs Improvement There are several wrong rhythms. (3-4)	Meets Standard There is one/two wrong rhythms.	Exceeds Standard Rhythm is performed accurately.
Fluidity	Does not Meet Standard There were 7 or more stops with in the reading and the student does not meet the standard.	Needs Improvement There were 5-6 stops within the reading and the student needs remediation in one or more areas to meet the standard.	Meets Standard There were 3-4 stops in the music; however, the student meet the standard.	Exceeds Standard There were 1-2 stops in the music; however the student exceeded mastery of the standard.
