Project Poster

Excellent

Includes the main theme(s) of the book as well as a creative way to display/convey the book theme(s). THe book Title is displayed on the outside of the box/can & artwork is related tot he book. Imagination is marked.

Student is missing 1-2 of the requirements on the poster.

Student is missing 3-4 of the reguirements on the poster. Fair use of creativity.

Student is missing more than 4 of the reguirements on the poster. Poorly constructed.
Project Contents

Excellent

Contents of the box are all present and done well. 10 questions are presented; 5 general questions, 5 in depth questions showing meaning and understanding of the book. Glossary of Vocab words/def's are present. 5 tangible items are also included and are directly related to book.
Good

All items are included, but at least one or more of the 3 item areas are represented well.
It is clear the student read the book.

Some of the items called for are missing and/or do not meet the minimum requirement for items. It appears the student read most of the book, but might not understand it.

Student has not accurately described the book through the presentation of the box/can. THe five things are either present, but do not show proper connection to the book, or some are missing. Examples may or may not have been used. Presentation of the literary elements is weak.
