Speaking Volume, Pace, Clarity	Excellent I spoke loud enough for the class to hear me. I read at an appropriate rate and fluently. *I enunciated my words.	Good I spoke softly; the class strained to hear me. I rushed a little while reading my speech, or did not read fluently. *I enunciated most of my words clearly.	Fair My class had difficulty hearing my speech. I read too fast or word for word when reading my speech. *My class could not understand many of my words.
Listening Respect, Focus	Excellent I was respectful and did not make any comments while classmates gave their speeches. I had my eyes on the speaker and did not get distracted.	Good I was pretty respectful. I only made one comment. I had my eyes on the speaker most of the time.	Fair I was disrespectful and made comments. I did not stay focused on the speaker.
