Lay Out Editing Team Rubric 
You must create a Graph Paper design of the lay-out of your business, drawn to scale with, facilities, bathrooms, work environments, street, etc....and then using the graph as a guide, create a 3D replica model using Foamboard, Cardboard, Shoebox, and any other craft materiel to construct your project. Your project must include all major categories for assessment in a visual layout as well as craft of work.

Newsletter is clean and clear of any smudges and/or stray lines. The graphics are centered in the middle of the paper and the boarder is spaced evenly from the edges.

There is some graphic interest but there is too much white area; some of the graphics are off of center a little

The drawing is not centered on the paper and crosses outside of the boarder. The paper looks dirty and there are stray lines.

The graphics are too small or too few; the graphics are inappropriate for the piece.

All necessary detail are contained within all the graphics and the written pieces

There are some (3- 5) details missing fromeither the written pieces or the graphics.

It appears as if the entire project was hastily put together with many elements missing.

All information is included in its correct location and at its correct scale according to the project directions.

Some details are not drawn to the correct size and cause only minor mistakes to the rest of the drawing.

There are a significant number of scaling errors or misplaced details. These mistakes may cause the rest of the drawing to be off to some extent.

The entire piece looks poor due to numerous errors in both the written article placement and or the graphic designs.
Craftsmanship

Exceeds

Pride in work and high level of competency is evident as piece could easily be published for public enjoyment
Meets

Pride and competency is evident; however more could have been done to make it outstanding and therefore published for public enjoyment.
Approaches

Little pride or competency is evident in finished product. Much revision and redo would be necessary to create an outstanding product.
Does NOT meet

Very poor effort; little or no pride in work and little evidence of competence in content area.
