Include at least one of each of the four different types of sentences using proper punctuation. Create four kinds of sentences	Below Basic Student was unable to create more than one of the four kinds of sentences. Zero or one definition completed or correct.	Basic Student correctly created at least two of the four kinds of sentences. Two definitions completed.	Proficient Student correctly created three of the four kinds of sentences. Definitions present.	Advance Student correctly created all four kinds of sentences, and included correct definitions.
Conventions	Below Basic End punctuation was incorrect on three sentences. There are more than four spelling errors.	Basic End punctuation was correct on two sentences. 3-4 spelling errors.	Proficient End punctuation was correct on three sentences. !-2 spelling errors.	Advance End punctuation was correct on all sentences. There are no spelling errors.
Creativity/Word Choice	Below Basic No creativity, no effort went into making project. Very poor work.	Basic Sentences lack creativity. Elementary word choice.	Proficient Average amount of creativity. Project shows effort and has some creativity. Project is neat.	Advance Poster is creative and shows extra effort. Student put in additional time to add in some extras. Looks excellent!
Neatness/Attractiveness	Below Basic The project is distractingly messy or very poorly designed. It is not attractive.	Basic The project is acceptably attractive though it may be a bit messy.
