Storyboard Rubric
Students will create, in groups, a storyboard depicting their assigned episode in The House of Atreus. With photos of the storyboards, the groups willl then present their project to the class. Each student is expected to speak in the presentation.

The project includes 10-12 frames, and the arc of the myth is clearly shown and accurate.
Good
The project includes 8-10 frames, and the story of the myth is shown but missing 1-2 aspects, but the arc is still accurate.
Fair
The project includes 6-8 frames, and the story of the myth is missing 3 or more important details which alters the accuracy of the myth.
Needs Improvement
The project includes 4-6 frames and the arc of the myth is only slightly accurate.
Poor
The project includes less than 4 frames and the arc of the myth is indistinguishable.
Visual Elements
Exemplary
All pictures demonstrate effort and are eye-catching and clearly communicate visually the section of the myth depicted in each panel.
Good
Most pictures show effort and clearly communicate an element in your story. It is evident that time was put into the storyboard and presentation.
Fair
Some pictures show effort and basically depict an element in your story. It is evident that some time was put into your storyboard, but appears rushed/careless in some places.
Needs Improvement
Many pictures appear rushed or are uninteresting. The connections to the elements of the myth are often unclear and not obvious.
Poor
The overall appearance of your storyboard is sloppy and rushed. Work is done with little effort, quality is poor. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Presentation Delivery

Exemplary
Consistent and effective volume, articulation, and expression were present in the speaker's voice. It was clear that all members of the group had a strong understanding of your story.
Good
The students spoke loudly and clearly enough to be easily understood and used effective expression. It was clear that most members of the group had a strong understanding of your story.
Fair
The students could be heard clearly most of the time, and some vocal expression was shown. It was clear that some group members did not have a strong understanding of your story.
Needs Improvement
Audience occasionally had difficulty hearing and/or understanding the presentation. Very little vocal expression was shown. It was clear that many group members did not have a strong understanding of your story.
Poor
Audience had difficulty hearing and/or understanding much of the presentation due to low volume. Very little expression was shown. Students did not appear to understand their story.

Exemplary
Worked cooperatively in the group. Helped the group stay focused on the assignment. Was a leader. All group members participate in presentation.
Good
Worked cooperatively with group members. Actively participated in all parts of the assignment. Stayed focused. Presentation was mostly divided evenly among group members.
Fair
Worked somewhat with the group but was off task and not engaged for part of the assignment. Presentation was divided up somewhat evenly among group members.
Needs Improvement
Worked somewhat with the group but was off task and distracting others at some points during the assignment. Presentation was not divided up evenly among group members.
Poor
Contributed a little to the group. Needed to be reminded to stay on task or to participate. One person gives entire presentation.
