Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration Diagram Project Photosynthesis and Cellular Respiration Diagram Project Students must create a poster that models or diagrams the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration and how they are interdependent on each other. Labels All parts of each process must be labeled	Advanced - 4 All steps are labeled accurately with correct spellings in labels steps.	Proficient - 3 All steps are labeled appropriately with no more than two spelling errors.	Progressing - 2 Missing steps or labels are incorrect. More than two spelling errors in labels.	Not Proficient - 1 Little or no labels. Numerous errors in labeling.
Process Understanding During presentation student must show an understanding of cell organelles.	Advanced - 4 Excellent understanding of both processes. Able to describe each process and its purpose, in depth, and using appropriate vocabulary.	Proficient - 3 Very good understanding of both processes. Able to describe each process and its purpose.	Progressing - 2 Understanding of both or one process needs further development. Not quite able to explain describe each process and its purpose.	Not Proficient - 1 Lack of understanding of the two processes. Not able to describe each process and its purpose.
Creativity Project must be colored and imagination must be used.	Advanced - 4 Extremely creative design. Clever use of materials, well organized.	Proficient - 3 Creative use of materials that show very good planning, organization, and hard work.	Progressing - 2 Shows some creativity in design. Shows signs of planning and organization.	Not Proficient - 1 Little creativity seen in design. Problems with planning and organization.
Effort Work must be done in class, some may be taken home with permission.	Advanced - 4 Time was well managed. Went above and beyond expectations.	Proficient - 3 Effort was put forth. Worked most of class on the project, stayed on task.	Progressing - 2 Some signs of effort shown. Worked some in class.	Not Proficient - 1 Very little effort put into project. Off-task alot during allotted time in class to work.
