Why I should or should not be in AVID for the next year. Length	Superior The paper is 30 or more sentences and 300-500 words in length.	Good The project has at least 25 well written constructed sentences	Fair The project has at least 20 well written constructed sentences	Poor The project has at least 15 well written constructed sentences
Organization of Project	Superior The paper contains the following: An Introduction: Why you need AVID academically;socially; your goals for next year, and after graduation. A Conclusion describing the positive assets you have in your personality that contribute to AVID.	Good The paper contains the following: An Introduction: Why you need AVID academically;socially; your goals for next year, and after graduation. A Conclusion describing the positive assets you have in your personality that contribute to AVID.	Fair The paper contains the following: An Introduction: Why you need AVID academically;socially; your goals for next year, and after graduation. A Conclusion describing the positive assets you have in your personality that contribute to AVID.	Poor The paper contains the following: An Introduction: Why you need AVID academically;socially; your goals for next year, and after graduation. Grammar/ Content Accuracy	Superior Project contain no errors. All content throughout the project is accurate.	Good Project contains less than 4 grammatical and/or spelling errors.	Fair Project contains between 5-9 grammatical and/or spelling errors	Poor Project contains more than 10 gramatical and/or spelling errors.
Neatness	Superior Letter is typed doubled spaced with 12 font, clean, not wrinkled and is easy to read. Correct heading .	Good Letter is typed doubled spaced with 12 font, clean, not wrinkled and is easy to read. Correct heading .	Fair Letter is typed doubled spaced with 12 font, clean, not wrinkled, but difficult to read. Correct heading .	Poor Letter is typed doubled spaced with 12 font, incomplete, wrinkled but difficult to read. Correct heading .
