Student is always in class and on time. Student stays for the entire duration of the class time.

Student has a negative attitude. Student makes the experience bad for others around him or her.

Student is neutral about the unit and projects. Student spreads mixed feelings around the class, both positive and negative.
Above Average

Student is positive about the activities being done in class.
Excellent

Student is positive about the activities being learned in class and sets the example for students around him/her.
Active Involvement

Student is not involved with the class activity. Student needs constant reminders to get back on task. Student is distracting to the class as a whole.
Average

Student is often engaged in the activity. Student needs a reminder to get back on task and can be distracting to teacher and classmates.
Above Average

Student is often engaged in the activities. Student could participate more in class activity, but is never causing a distraction.
Excellent

Student is constantly engaged in the class activity. Student does not need reminders to stay on task.
Cooperation

Poor

Student does not follow directions and rules. Student argues with classmates or instructor. Does not follow other students leadership and does not lead other students in learning
Average

Student follows directions and rules 50% of class time. Occasionally argues with others. Is reluctant to follow other students leadership and lead others in learning.
Above Average

Student follows directions and rules for the majority of class. Follows other students leadership as well as directs others in learning.
Excellent

Student follows directions and rules entire class time. Follows and encourages other students leadership as well as directs others in learning.
Classwork

Poor

No assignment turned in or showed no effort, did not work any of the assignments.
Average

Partial assignments completed. Put forth some effort and tried to work some of the assignment.
Above Average

All assignments completed but with some errors.
Showed work on assignments. Put forth a good effort.
Excellent

All assignments completed with no errors. Showed work on assignments. Put forth a lot of effort.
Homework

Poor

Incomplete or missing homework. Has no knowledge of the content.
Average

Completed some of the homework for the week. Has some knowledge of the content. Paper is torn, dirty, has a lot of erasures.
Above Average

90% of the homework is completed. Showed understanding of the completed assignments. Some confusion on the assignments not completed. The work is neat and can be easily read.
Excellent

Completed all homework for the week. They understand and can clearly explain all their work. The work is neat and easily read.
