Vocal Performance
	Excellent 4 pts	Great 3 pts	Average 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Pitch	Excellent Virtually no errors. Pitch is very accurate.	Great An occasional isolated error, but most of the time pitch is accurate and secure.	Average Some accurate pitches, - Frequent and/or repeated errors.	Poor Very few or no pitch.
Rhythm	Excellent The beat is secure and the rhythms are accurate for the music being sung. - Great timing	Great -Rhythms are mostly accurate. Few duration errors, but doesn't take away from the overall performance.	Average Some rhythms are accurate. Frequent or repeated duration errors. Rhythm problems occasionally detract from the overall performance.	Poor Very little or no rhythm.
Diction/Volume	Excellent Student articulates clearly and the text of the music is understandable.	Great Student articulates the words somewhat clearly and the text can be understood most of the time.	Average Student rarely articulates the words Text is not discernable.	Poor Not sure as to what the student is singing.
