The focus is sometimes clear. There is a beginning, and middle but the ending needs to be developed further. Some imagination is seen.

The focus is somewhat unclear. There are gaps in the storyline. Character development is weak. Clear beginning, bnut unclear middle and ending. Little imagination present.

Focus is not clear. There is a beginning but no development of storyline. Imagination is missing.
Staging

Blocking is well-motivated and purposefull. The stage is used effectively and imaginatively.

Most of the time the movement is character driven. The stage is beginning to be used imaginatively.

Occasionally the movement is character driven. The actors limit the use of the stage.

Characters have limited movement. Some movement seems to be random, with no purpose.

There is no movement. Actors gesture but not with character motivation or thought.
Acting

The characters are interesting and respond to each other. The actors work together- sharing and listening and reacting. Characters are believable.

Characters are clear and unique. Actors focus is on improvisation the majority of the time. Actors respond in the moment and work together. Showboating is absent.
Average 3

Characters are beginning to be different from the actors. Actors begin to respond to each other. Showboating is evident.
Below average 2

Characters are sometimes interesting. Most of the time characters are flat with little emotion or reaction to other actors. No interp present.
Poor 1

Characters are simplistic. Actos movement and voice are often present. Actors are unfocused. Actors are working independently.
