Wire Sculpture
	Level 3 3 pts	Level 2 2 pts	Level 1 1 pts
Skill; Wire Manipulation ~Sculpting the basic armature (skeleton) of the form. ~Sculpting the contour and volume of the form correctly.	Level 3 *The armature and sculpture resemble the volume and mass of the form from the student's thumbnail sketch(es). The armature successfully holds the weight of the sculpture.	Level 2 *The armature and sculpture somewhat resemble the volume and mass of the form from the student's thumbnail sketch(es). The armature is fairly successful in holding up the weight of the sculpture (sculpture may be a little "shaky" or "unbalanced").	Level 1 *The student did not try to sculpt the form on their own and the armature and sculpture do not resemble the volume and mass of the form from the student's thumbnail sketch(es). The armature does not successfully hold the weight of the sculpture or barely holds the weight.
Detail and Design ~Creating an interesting shape and design (color and/or pattern).	Level 3 *The sculpture is interesting and unique in both shape and design. It is obvious that the student put a great deal of effort into the shape and design of the sculpture.	Level 2 *The sculpture has some interesting aspects relating to its shape and design. It appears as though the student put some effort into the shape and design of the sculpture.	Level 1 *The sculpture has few, if any, interesting elements relating to its shape and design. The student put little to no effort into the shape and design of the sculpture.
Effort ~Took time to complete the task.	Level 3 *The student gave an effort far beyond the requirements of the project.	Level 2 *The student finished the project but it lacked finishing touches. The project could be improved upon with little effort.	Level 1 *The student did not finish the work.
Cooperation ~Helpful to your class and listening to instruction.	Level 3 The student is always willing to complete assigned tasks and help set up and clean up projects. Student always works well with others. *Student always uses studio time and clean up time well.	Level 2 The student is sometimes willing to complete assigned tasks and help set up and clean up projects. Students will work with others only if required. *Student is in seat when class starts and uses studio time appropriately.	Level 1 Student does not show a willingness to complete assigned tasks and help set up and clean up projects. Does not work well with others. *The student is often not in their seat when class starts and/ or rushes to finish.
