Diary of an Immigrant 
Student will write diary entries in the persona of an immigrant coming to the United States. It will describe your arrival to America. The purpose of this assignment is to describe what happened to you and your family when you traveled to and landed at Ellis Island or Angel Island. You will write three separate journal entries that are at least one page long. Across the journal entries you may address the following ideas/issues.
