What if snails hadn't saved Bertric-Burée? After students read and discuss "A Festival of Snails" from France magazine, they will create a new reality with something other than snails saving the population from starvation. Students will research the town, the Dordogne region, the snail industry, and their alternate "savior". Students will present their findings in a creative method of their choice.
