Good
Paper meets the length requirement; however, it does not utilize the resources in the most effective manner. Includes the minimum amount of required information (i.e. only the information presented in the textbook)
Fair
Doe not have all of the required sources and does not necessarily meet the length requirement. Also, sourcurces may not be used in an effective manner, or there is not enough information presented in the paper.
Poor
The paper is lacking any resources and/or does not satisify the length requirement. There may be false information presented in the paper.
Grammar and Mechanics
Excedes Expectations
The paper is free from specclin adn gramatical errors, and is written in a clear and consise manner. MLA format is followed for the works cited page.
Good
The paper is mostly free from spelling adn gramatical errors with only a few minor mistakes that do not necessarily distract the reader. MLA format is followed for the works cited page with only one or two mistakes.
Fair
There are several spelling and gramatical errors and the reader is somewhat distracted by the errors. MLA format is followed but there are major errors in its usage.
Poor
The paper is full of spelling and gramatical errors and it is difficult for the reader to understand the clear meaning and sequence of the paper. The paper either lacks a works cited page, or there is no clear format followed in listing the refrences.

The paper has an element of creativity and style, and is not just a list of facts. The paper demonstrates thought and full understanding of the subject matter.
Good
The paper is written clearly and in a logical sequence. The paper contains facts as well as an attempt to include style into the paper.
Fair
The paper lacks style and reads more like a list of facts than a research paper.
Poor
The paper is not written in paragraph form, but rather as a bulleted list. The paper lacks a clear sturcture or logical sequence.

Spoke clearly and confidently. Limited fidgeting and other nervous habits. Seemed interedted and excited, and was knowledgeable about the subject matter.
Good
Seemed a little nervous but delivered the material successfully anyway. Seemed knowledgeable about the subject matter. Fudgeted a little but it was nothin too distracting.
Fair
Seemed too nervous to deliver the material successfully. Seemed a little confused or not completely knowledgeable about the subject matter.
Poor
Was not able to successfully make an oral presentation. May have made inappropiate comments or make completely false statements about the subject matter.
Energy and Presentation
Excedes Expectations
The presentation is clear and interesting to the class. The presentation is delivered in an excited adn energetic manner to engage the class.
Good
The speaker is interesting and engaging. The speaker may not be overly excited, but offers enough enthuiasm to keep the class interedted.
Fair
The presentaion is interesting but the speaker laks much enthuiasiam.
Poor
The speaker is very monotone and is noit treating the presentaion serriously, but instead is grudgingly reading the facts off of the board.

The poster vas visual interesting and obviously took some time to create. There is an aparent element of creativity through the use of color, design, or some other factor.
Good
The poster is visually interesting and obviously took a decent amount of time to create. The poster contains elements that will be visually interesting for the audience to look at.
Fair
The poster is somewhat plain or simple. It may not contain any colors or any items that are particularly interesting.
Poor
The studnets did not complete a poster or obviouly slapped the poster together quickly with little effort. There may be spelling errors on the poster.
Factual Information
Excedes Expectations
The poster offers clear, factual information that relates the topic of the project to the class. The topic is clear and the information is presented in a creative manner.
Good
The poster contains the required amount of information and presents it ina clear and visually pleasing manner. The poster presents the information in an interesting way.
Fair
The poster does not contain all of the required facts or does not clearly depict the subject matter of the project. The poster does attempt to be creative in how it presents the subject though.
Poor
The poster lacks any relevant factual information and does not attempt to present the factual informationwith any creativity.
