Formal Commands to the Principal Formal Commands to the Principal The objective of this activity is to have students practice using Formal commands. Students will design a Powerpoint presentation consisting of 12 slides. Ten slides will have a Formal command in Spanish and English. Students will add a graphic or photo to each slide. Finally, Students will present their Powerpoint orally in class. (I usually invite an administrator to come and sit in during the presentations.) DESIGNS PRESENTATION	Poor Little indication that instructions were followed.	Fair Omitted many of the required design requirements	Good Completed the design. However... did not include a graphic or photo on each page and/or... did not write the commands in Spanish and English on each page	Excellent Completed the design of the presentation. Included a graphic or photo on each page Wrote the commands in Spanish and English on each page.
GRAMMAR	Poor Has more than five(5) grammar errors using Formal commands.	Fair Has three(3) to five(5) grammar errors using Formal commands.	Good Has less than two(2) grammar errors using Formal commands.	Excellent No written or spoken grammar errors using Formal commands.
PRONUNCIATION	Poor Very poor pronuncation throughout the presentation.	Fair Spanish is comprehensible but has several pronunciation errors.	Good Very good pronunciation; has very few errors.	Excellent Excellent pronunciation. Obviously practiced. Sounds Spanish.
EXTRA EFFORT	Poor Work displays Little extra effort.
