CONSTRUCTION

Excellent work

The sculpture was completed with great care. Shapes and other materials are all securely attached and the structure is sturdy.
Meets Expectations

The sculpture was generally well constructed. However, more attention to detail would improve the quality of the construction.
Needs Improvements

Although ideas for construction were good this has not been followed through with careful craftsmanship. Inappropriate materials, lack of attention to detail and/or an inappropriate construction techniques have been used.
DETAIL

Excellent work

Excellent use of textural effects. A variety of objects were used. The audience can quickly identify the object being created.
Meets Expectations

Some good textural effects were used. After a bit of time, the object created can be identified.
Needs Improvements

Some textural effects were included, although these were not always visually pleasing. It is difficult to identify the object OR there is minimal detail which demonstrates limited planning.
EFFORT

Excellent work

The student was highly motivated to produced high quality work. The amount of detail is such that it is clear the student took a lot of time and care to produce the work of art.
Meets Expectations

There is enough detail that demonstrates some effort and time was taken to create the work of art.
Needs Improvements

Some effort was made to complete the task, although a lack of motivation is evident by the basic object created.
