The student created an interesting and unique Aztec sun design that fills the entire design space. The design communicates something no one else thought of. The student went above and beyond by using the required materials in an original way.

Materials were not applied properly. Artwork does not demonstrate radial balance and the repujado techniques were not successfully used.

Artwork shows good use of the repujado techniques, however, parts of the design may or may not have radial balance.

Artwork demonstrates radial balance using the repujado techniques with excellent craftsmanship.
