School Issues
Current efforts are being made to change some of the issues that are happening in our schools today. Since creating a school where everyone will be friends is not realistic, creating a school where everyone can get along is attainable. In this assignment, you will select one of the following issues: * Fighting (discipline problems, bullying) * Gang Activity * Drug and Alcohol Use * School Security * School Shootings * Racism among students * Teen Suicide You will create a PowerPoint Slide Show that will address the following questions: Define the problem (what is it?) Why does this issue exist or why did you choose this one What is the big deal about this issue What has or is your school doing about it What effect does it have on you What effect does it have on the learning environment What suggestions do you have to help What are other schools doing to get rid of this issue
