Geo Quilt
Students will create various geometric triangles, (on top of squares) with varying degrees of angles. Students will also create circles with varying degrees of a circle, (360, 180, 90, 45, along with 3 in between each of the designated degrees). These various degrees and triangles will all be created of construction paper, glued to a contrasting color of construction paper. When completed, all of the geometric degrees and triangles will be laid out in a pattern and glued to 4 large sections of construction paper. All of this is then glued to a large section of butcher paper, creating a unified paper quilt of various degrees and triangles.

Poor

Very few required degrees of a circle are in place. The degrees of a circle have been measured, cut and glued onto a color with very little care.
Fair

Most required degrees of a circle are in place. The degrees of a circle have been measured, cut and glued onto a contrasting color with some care.
Good

All required degrees of a circle are in place. The degrees of a circle have been measured, cut and glued onto a contrasting color with great care.
3 student chosen degrees (circle)

Poor

1 chosen degree of a circle is in place. The degree of a circle has been measured, cut and glued onto a color with very little care.
Fair

2 chosen degrees of a circle are in place, and are degrees in between those required. The degrees of a circle have been measured, cut and glued onto a contrasting color with some care.
Good

All 3 chosen degrees of a circle are in place, and are degrees in between those required. The degrees of a circle have been measured, cut and glued onto a contrasting color with great care.
Acute, obtuse and right triangles

Poor

1 required triangle is in place. The triangle has been measured, cut and glued onto a color with very little care.
Fair

2 required triangles are in place. The triangles have been measured, cut and glued onto a contrasting color with some care.
Good

All required triangles are in place. The triangles have been measured, cut and glued onto a contrasting color with great care.
equilateral, scalene and isosceles

Poor
