Macbeth Performance Each student will perform a two minute monologue or five minute selection from a scene in Macbeth. Rubric Code: UX8X9C By emuni1 Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: Humanities Type: Presentation Grade Levels: 9-12

Movement	Poor The student delivered their lines from a stationary position.	Fair The student attempted some movement within the scene to convey its meaning.	Good The student used movement effectively using stage directions and impulses to covey the meaning of the scene.
Vocal Delivery	Poor The student did not use vocal inflection in order to convey the meaning of the scene.	Fair The student attempted some vocal inflection within the scene to convey its meaning.	Good The student used vocal inflection effectively, taking cues from emotional hints in the text to covey the meaning of the scene.
Memorization	Poor The student did not memorize the piece and was unable to perform without using the script.	Fair The student called for line two-four times, but was able to perform without a script in hand.	Good The piece was memorized and the student called for line only once, or did not call for line at all.
Time limit	Poor The student or group was over/under the time limit by more than a minute.	Fair The student or group was over/under the time limit by thirty-one seconds to a minute.	Good The student/group was within thirty seconds of the time limit.
