Clarity	Poor All answers were awkward and incomprehensible.	Fair Answers were awkward and incomprehensible, not enough examples to support them.	Good Answers were awkward at times but always understandable and supported with examples.	Excellent Answers were clear, comprehensible, and supported with examples.
Pronunciation/Fluency	Poor Student pronunciation was incomprehensible. Unable to answer most or all questions.	Fair Student's pronunciation inhibited understanding. Took a long time to respond to questions.	Good Student's pronunciation had only a few errors. Answered most questions with little difficulty.	Excellent Student's pronunciation was nearly like a native speaker. Student communicated very clearly, answered questions convincingly.
Responses	Poor No sign of comprehension.	Fair The student showed little or no comprehension of questions.	Good The student understood most of what was asked of them.	Excellent The student fully understood the questions which were asked and answered correctly.
Confidence	Poor Did not show any confidence, could not convince interviewer into hiring.	Fair Showed very little confidence, not convincing enough for interviewer.	Good Showed a good amount of confidence, very likely to convince interviewer.	Excellent Showed perfect confidence, guaranteed to convince interviewer.
Body Language	Poor Stood/sat uncomfortably, very little or no eye contact, overall awkward interaction.	Fair Had decent posture, but didn't show much visible comfort with interview.	Good Had good posture, made enough eye contact and presented self well.	Excellent Perfect posture, made great eye contact and made interview comfortable for both self and interviewer.
