Pre-Med T-Shirt Design Contest The student/s will create a T-shirt design to celebrate being in the Pre-Medical program that is creative, original, attractive, demonstrates good use of color and a positive slogan. MUST includes the school name - CMS or Congress Middle School
	Level 4 Highly Effective 100 pts	Level 3 Effective 75 pts	Level 2 Somewhat effective 50 pts	Level 1 Limited Effectiveness 25 pts
Design Effort 10 pts design effort is creative/original and demonstrates understanding of the assignment. Focus on what's great about the Pre-Med program here at Congress. Use catchy phrases from what you have learned about the Human Body	Level 4 very creative/original design -goes beyond the assignment requirements	Level 3 -creative/original design -demonstrates good understanding of the assignment	Level 2 -somewhat creative/original design - demonstrates fair understanding of the assignment	Level 1 -lacks creative/original design -doesn't demonstrate understanding of the assignment. Using background.
Use of School Name and Year 40 pts application of CMS or Congress Middle School to T-shirt design, 2016-2017 School Year.	Level 4 -creative use or placement of name adds to the overall design of the T-shirt. -Student has used: 2016-2017	Level 3 -name is readable -Student has used CMS or Congress Middle School	Level 2 -name is too small or is otherwise unreadable	Level 1 -name is missing
Layout - Color/Pattern/ Text 40 pts use of color and, where applicable, pattern. No more than two colors.	Level 4 - excellent use of color/pattern/text. Contains slogan text with positive words. -Layout dimensions is 8.5 x 11 or 11 x 8.5	Level 3 - good use of color/pattern/text. Contains catchy slogan	Level 2 - fair use of color/pattern/text. Contains 1 line of text	Level 1 -poor use of color/pattern/text. No lines of text
Overall effect 10 pts attractiveness of T-shirt shape, collar style (v-neck or crew neck), and is noticeable	Level 4 -T-shirt is very attractive...I'd buy and wear it!	Level 3 -T-shirt is attractive	Level 2 -T-shirt is fairly attractive. I would buy it for someone.	Level 1 -T-shirt is not attractive. I would not wear it.
