Literary Analysis Essay Rubric 
After reading several short stories by Flannery O'Connor, write a literary analysis of one story describing how she uses literary devices to provide and enhance the satire that speaks to society's need to look at themselves and their follies. Support the understanding of satire with references to the text by describing three specific literary devices O'Connor uses to help her develop the satire in her story.
