.Excellent use of vocabulary. 20 complete, well-written sentences. No grammatical errors throughout the comic strip. Accents and punctuation are used appropriately when & where needed.
Good
Most of comic strip is done accurately, with correct grammar used throughout. There are 1-2 errors with either grammar or punctuation. However the errors do not disrupt the flow of the comic strip.
Fair
Some parts of the comic strip are grammatically accurate. There are 3 or more gramatical errors &/or punctuation errors. Difficult to understand the sequencing & organization of the comic.
Poor
Not accurate grammar throughout the comic. There are numerous errors with grammar &/or punctuation. Difficult to understand the sequence of the comic.
Graphics
Excellent
Great effort put in to the graphics of the comic. Each slide has a background that goes with the character's conversation. There are appropriate props/items in each slide. The drawings are neat and show lots of effort.
Good
Good use of graphics throughout comic. Drawings do not have a lot of background. Props are in 3 of the comic frames. There is not much creativity used with the background and the props chosen.
Fair
More than one frame of the comic strip is lacking a background. There are some props, but more than one frame is lacking in props. Based on the graphics it is difficult to understand the flow of the comic.
Poor
Graphics are confusing, or do not go together. Make the flow of the comic difficult to understand. Only 1-2 props/items used throughout entire comic.

Ten complete frames, well divided. Presentation looks professional. Evidence of effort and thoughtfulness.
Good
9 complete frames, well divided. Presentation has evidence of work and effort. It is clean and organized.
Fair
8 complete frames, well divided. Presentation does not show a lot of work or effort. Frames are divided unevenly , lines are not straight.
Poor
7 or less frames. Presentation shows minimum effort. Fuzzy or lines made without the use of a ruler. The presentation looks more like a rough draft than a final paper.
