Class Participation
	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor or no points 1 pts
ATTENDANCE/PUNCTUALITY 40 % Shows up in class. If issues arise, speak to instructor immediately.	Excellent EXCELLENT Student is absent twice or 5 min late one or two times	Good GOOD Student is absent 3 times or more than 5 min late three or four times.	Fair FAIR Student is absent 4 times or more than 5 min late five or six times.	Poor POOR Student is absent more than 4 times and is more than 5 minutes late more than six times.
LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT AND BEHAVIOR 30 %	Excellent EXCELLENT Student often asks questions, participates in pair/group discussions.	Good GOOD Student sometimes asks questions, and participates in pair/group discussions.	Fair FAIR Student rarely participates in class, struggles with pair/group discussions.	Poor POOR Student does not participates in class, does not participate in pair/group discussions.
PREPARATION 30 %	Excellent EXCELLENT Student is always prepared for class with assignments and required materials punctually.	Good GOOD Student is usually prepared for class	Fair FAIR Student is frequently unprepared for class	Poor POOR Student is unprepared for class. Student may need to be prompted to take notes.
