Romeo and Juliet- Comparing Films 
In class, we read William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and watched two different versions of the play performed as movies. You are to write an essay comparing and contrasting how each director depicted Shakespeare's play, and you must present in the essay your opinion as to which director you feel did the best job overall in bringing Shakespeare's play to life.

Error in spelling and grammar are frequently distracting. May significantly impede understanding.
Fair

Some distracting errors in spelling and grammar, but the mistakes do not impede understanding.

Few if any errors do not distract reader.
