Magnets and Our World
Magnets have many real world applications. Magnets can be found in use all over the world in medicine, vehicles, animal migration, space travel, home appliances, and power plants. Your goal to identify an area in our world today that uses magnets. Then write a 3-5 page detailed report on how magnets are used in your chosen area. Include information on what type of magnets are used, how they are used, are the magnets used to create or control an electrical current, and any other topic we have discussed so far in this unit. Use reliable internet sources, along with science journals and periodicals to do your research. You will also be required to make a poster or PowerPoint Presentation to be used in a 10 minute presentation of your topic. You make work alone or with a partner.
