Connections	Poor The project aspects have little connection to the story and even show some misunderstanding about events.	Fair	Good	Excellent The project aspects have great connection to the story and even show much understanding about events.
Accuracy	Poor The project shows items and/or events that might not have occurred in the story or are exaggerated.	Fair	Good	Excellent The project shows many items and/or events that have occurred in the story and shows them in very accurate detail.
Organization	Poor The project shows little planning and forethought and some parts appear to be incomplete or rushed.	Fair	Good	Excellent The project shows superior planning and forethought and many parts are well presented and unique.
Effort	Poor The student has not adequately used their time and needed excessive reminders to attend to their task.	Fair	Good	Excellent The student made great use of their time and was an exemplary model of staying focused to their task.
Conventions	Poor The student has made little effort to conventions. This has not met many language arts grade level expectations.	Fair	Good	Excellent The student has been very attentive to conventions. This has exceeded many language arts grade level expectations.
