Content	Excellent Three or more accurate facts about the part of speech chosen are in the final draft.	Good Two accurate facts about the part of speech chosen are in the final draft.	Fair One accurate fact about the part of speech chosen is in the final draft.	Needs attention No accurate facts about the part of speech chosen are in the final draft.
Role (Voice)	Excellent The writer makes it clear that he or she assumed the role of a part of speech and consistently speaks from that perspective throughout.	Good The writer makes it clear that he or she assumed the role of a part of speech, but may have one sentence from another perspective.	Fair The writer may not make it clear that he or she has assumed the role of a part of speech, or may have multiple examples of writing from another perspective.	Needs attention The writer has not assumed the role of a part of speech, and may only talk about it from his or her own perspective.
Format/Audience	Excellent The writer has chosen an appropriate format and seems to clearly address the chosen audience throughout their writing.	Good The writer may not consistently stick to their chosen format, or occasionally not seem to address their chosen audience.
