Used separate ovals, cirlcles and rectangles to create the body. Shapes still look seperate. Proportion is not important.
Good

Starting to make clothing separate from shapes. Skirts flare out from legs. Detail is more important than proportion. There is an attempt to draw clothes but the basic shapes are still are visible. Usually drawn without short light strokes. Profiles may have just nose added to oval. Eyes may be at top of head.
Excellent

Basic shapes used in creation have disappered. Uses short light strokes to shape outline-legs have calves not rectangular The face and body are extremely close to proportions in real life for both face and body Profiles have line that follows the sihouette of a lip and nose

Inappropriate tool choice-fat marker are used to color in small areas Almost all erasure marks show.

Some erasure marks show the student is trying to work light. The proper tool is chosen for the right job-thin markers and colored pencils are picked for small details.

No erasure marks show. Student shows pride in their work. Uses tools with profieciency to achieve an effect they desire.

One base line is used for sky and ground
Good

The concept of horizon line is used-earthand sky touch and are not considered 2 seperate lines. Ideas like high=far, close=low and overlap are starting to be used

The same as three plus high+small=far, low+big=close. Backs of bodies my be shown. There may be an attempt to use lines to create 3-D shapes likes ones, boxes beds etc.

Mostly an attempt to use color realistically but maybe chose to make skin yellow
