Creative	None No attempt to show creativity in style or content.	Fair Student attempts to answer the prompt accurately but does not make much of an attempt to creatively respond.	Good Student sufficiently answers the prompt but does not go much beyond the requirements.	Awesome In terms of content and style, student attempts to move beyond the usual and is for the most part successful.	Rocking Awesome Student reaches above the typical and successfully writes and thinks uniquely.
Thoughtful	None Not very thoughtful at all.	Fair Student attempts to address the prompt but does not move much beyond superficial and simple responses.	Good Student answers the prompt but demonstrates very little effort to explore the topic in depth.	Awesome Student shows some breadth and depth in responding to the prompt.	Rocking Awesome Writing shows real breadth and depth of thought in responding to the prompt.
Format/Requirements	None No requirements meant. Student has written less than 3/4 page.	Fair Student has written a full page and completed 1 or 2 of 5.
