Needs Improvement The paragraph did not describe enough important details or gave too much information that wasn't important.
Point of View	Excellent The summary was written completely in the student's own words, excluding technical words.	Good The summary was written mostly in the student's own words.	Needs Improvement The summary was not written in the student's own words. The student simply copied from the reading source.
Well Written Sentences	Excellent Sentences are well built, enhance meaning and flow easily. No fragments or run-ons. There are varied beginnings and lengths.	Good Sentences are usually correct.
