Floor Plan-Elements of Design

Scale	Advanced Scale of all fixtures and furnishings is all correct. 1/4 " scale used throughout rooms. Used templates	Proficient Scale of most furnishings is correct. Has two 2 errors. Templates were used in most cases.	Low Proficient Scale of furnishings and features are incorrect. Some 1/4" some 1/2" scale. Templates use occasionally.	Basic/Minimal No floor planning scale looks present or varies. Different sizes for furnishings and features not on templates.
Line/Architectural Features	Advanced There are 2 doors and 1 or more windows drawn correctly in each room. Lighting & switches exceed correct number & placed appropriately. Outlets are many and arranged along walls where needed.	Proficient There are two doors and more than 5 windows drawn correctly. Lights & switches are correct, 5 upstairs. Electric outlet are many and throughout the rooms.	Low Proficient There is 1 door and 3 or 4 windows present and drawn correctly. Lights /switches & outlet are not adequate but throughout the rooms.	Basic/Minimal Less than 3 windows, 1 door shown, few outlet and/or lights and switches.
Space/Furnishings	Advanced Furniture and fixtures are present. Space very well arranged using clearence spaces and traffic patterns. Has 0 mistakes.	Proficient Furniture & fixtures present. Fairly well arranged using clearence spaces and traffic patterns. Has 1 or 2 mistakes or missing items.	Low Proficient Furniture & fixtures present. Poorly arranged using incorrect clearence spaces and traffic patterns. Has 3 or 4 mistakes or missing items.	Basic/Minimal No or little furniture & fixtures present. Has 5 or more mistakes in arrangement and spacing
Form/Appearance	Advanced Floor plan is neat & looks well planned. Template forms are used well. Shapes are appealing together.	Proficient Floor plan is fairly neat, according to template sheets. Arrangement makes sense, not crowded or sparse. Correctly placed.	Low Proficient Floor plan is messy. Template forms are overcrowded or in wrong places.	Basic/Minimal No floor plan present or only partially completed or very messy. 6 + features and furnishings missing, space is too empty or overcrowded.
