Requirements

At least 10 - 15 slides, use of transitions. Title page including name of student. Must have information answering the critical question.
Include, identify & explain paintings. Last slide contains all sources. information.

Exceeds

All requirements are exceeded. Slides show a sophistication and are accurate. The information shows a deep understanding of Monet and his technique.
Meets the standard

All requirements are present and accurate. It's obvious some level of understanding of Monet and his technique is present.
Partially meets

One requirement was missing or vague. It's not clear that I really understand how to transform research into a presentation.
Does not meet

More than one requirement was missing or vague. It is pretty obvious that time wasn't used wisely. There is still some understanding of Monet to be done.
Aesthetic Value

Keynote is visually appealing and makes the artist shine!

Exceeds

Went above and beyond to make the keynote informative, yet interesting and pleasing to the eye. The slides are full, but done to highlight and inform of the artist's work.
Meets the standard

Showed a good side of the artist. The slideshow was very well done and shows a good collection of the artist's work, yet answers key questions.
Partially meets

My pages were a little bare and lacking in something. Perhaps I needed more photos or information. I did a fair job.
Does not meet

Did not spend as much time on the keynote as I should have. It really shows.
Presentation

Student presents Keynote to the class and is able to answer any questions students may have.

Exceeds

Well-rehearsed with smooth delivery. I held my audience's attention by reading some of the slides and sharing extra information not on the slides. I didn't need to look at my slides.
Meets the standard

I rehearsed and was fairly smooth with my delivery. I think I held my audience's attention. My eye contact was pretty good.
Partially meets

I tried to be smooth in my delivery, but I should have practiced more. I read a lot from my slides and didn't look at my audience enough.
Does not meet

I was not smooth. I did not hold my audience's attention. Perhaps I did not even present it to the class.
Information

The student used all resources afforde them including the field trip, the Internet study time and the use of books purchased at the museum.

Exceeds

Made excellent use of sources from the field trip and also sources on the Internet. Used the books available to gather additional facts and photos to greatly enhance the presentation.
Meets the standard

Made good use of sources from the field trip and also sources on the Internet. Used some books to gather additional facts. Provided some interesting information to enhance the presentation
Partially meets

Made some use of sources from the field trip. Most information was gathered from the internet. May have used books to provide additional information.
Does not meet

Didn't make good use of the the field trip, Internet or books provided for additional information. Had little interest in the project or did not even turn it in.
Mechanics

Grammar and spelling is spot on! I have noted ALL sources. I have made sure to reference our field trip when possible.

Exceeds

These are my own words. You can't find a spelling error or grammatical mistake! It is obvious I proofread.
All sources check out!
Meets the standard

I used my own words.
There may be one or two typos but almost every slide is perfect. All my basic spelling words are correct or I used correct punctuation.
Sources check out!
Partially meets

I used my own words, but, I should have proofread more closely. There may be several misspellings and/or grammatical mistakes. I may have forgotten to capitalize.
Does not meet

I used my own words.
Were we supposed to proofread? Sources?
