Understanding	Exceeds Student completely understands the meaning of the question.	Satisfactory Student seems confused by question.	Needs Improvement Student's post is completely off-topic.
Ideas	Exceeds Student contributes useful information to the discussion.	Satisfactory Student contributes okay information to the discussion.	Needs Improvement Student contributes off-topic information.
Length	Exceeds Student meets the requirement of length.	Satisfactory	Needs Improvement Student does not meet the required length.
Grammar	Exceeds Student has written in complete sentences. There are few grammatical errors.	Satisfactory Student has written in complete sentences. There are several grammatical errors.	Needs Improvement Student has not written in complete sentences, and/ or there are many grammatical errors.
