Description of Process	1 The steps are not clear or in order.	2 The steps of the How To Paragraph are there. However, they are not clear to the reader. Transitional phrases were not changed to commands.	3 The writer wrote the steps of how to do something. Steps are clear commands and are organized by numbers or bullets.
Use of Sequence Words	1 The writer did not use any sequence words. The steps are very confusing to the reader.	2 The writer used very little sequence words in this project. The steps are somewhat confusing.	3 The writer used some sequence words while writing the how to paragraph. The lack of sequence words did not effect the how to paragraph.
Word Choice	1 The writer does not have acceptable word choice in this paragraph.	2 The writer has very little different word choices for the paragraph.	3 The writer has nice word choice. They could have writen with a little more descriptivness.
