See a Noun, Pick it Up!
	Poor 10 pts	Fair 15 pts	Good 25 pts
Following Directions 1. Choose a noun. 2. Mount noun on paper. 3. Write a paragraph following criteria. 4. Mount writing.	Poor Student does not follow directions.	Fair Student somewhat follows directions for assignment.	Good Student follows directions completely.
Work Ethic 1. Works quietly at desk. 2. Works independently not needing to ask for help. 3. Is willing and able to help others if needed	Poor Student does not complete work and will not stay seated and quiet while working.	Fair Student partially completes work and is working quietly at desk 75% of the time.	Good Student completes work quietly at desk not disturbing any other students and is willing to help others when needed.
Product 1. Product is neat and complete to best of students ability	Poor Student is unable to complete independent work on his/her own and does not ask for help.	Fair Student completes part of the independent work on his/her, but asks for help as needed.	Good Student completes independent work on his/her own without assistance and displays strong understanding.
Writing 1. Write a paragraph following given criteria: where they found the noun, why they chose the noun, what verb they did to get the noun, and describe the noun using as many adjectives as possible. 2. Use correct sentence structure. 3. Underline all adjectives in writing.	Poor Student is unable to write a complete paragraph.	Fair Student writes 2-3 sentences only showing some of the criteria with some sentence structure mistakes.	Good Student writes a complete paragraph showing all criteria and proper sentence structure.
