3D Art I: Stained Glass
Create a unique stained glass design for the lid of your box. You must incorporate angles that are not 90 degrees, and/or curves into the design.

Fit of Pieces--glass and metal
Excellent
Glass pieces fit tightly together like puzzle pieces. Mitered corners of zinc U-channel touch.
Box is square. Lid is hinged neatly. Piece is functional.

ALWAYS followed safety procedures: wearing glasses, hair up, checked water level in grinders. Never needed to be reminded.

Overall Design and Presentation
Excellent
Very challenging design. Uses at least 20 pieces of glass in project. Interesting use of color and pattern. angled and/or curves of various colors of glass included in design. Very neat and clean.

Challenging design. Uses 15-19 pieces of glass. Use of color and pattern is good. Mostly included angles or curves from the same piece of glass. Neat and clean.
Fair
Not very challenging design. Uses 10-14 pieces of glass. Use of color and pattern is fair. Not very clean. Mostly straight lines and rectangular shapes.
Poor
Simple design. Uses less than 10 glass shapes for project. Not particularly creative. Project is not clean.
