Facial Expressions

Level 4

Different facial expressions were used, and they accurately portrayed the mood or emotion intended. Very expressive face.
Level 3

Student used facial expressions and attempted to match the mood or emotion. They were expressive most of the time.
Level 2

Some facial expressions were apparent but not always clear.
Level 1

There were few if no facial expressions. Present facial expressions did not match with mood or emotion. The face was blank.
Body Expressions

Level 4

The body positions were expressive and matched the mood/emotion of the character. The actor's body stayed frozen and in control throughout the performance.

Most of the time the body matched the emotion/mood, and helped to tell the story. Sometimes the body position seemed out of place. The body was not always frozen and in control

The body was not frozen for most of the performance. The expression in the body was not clear. There was little control of the body

Actor moved constantly when supposed to be frozen. Body positions did not help to express the feelings of the performance.

Student had very little focus in the performance. They rarely had a focus point. And were confused on their cues.

Student was never focused. They never had a focal point and never knew what they were suppose to do in the performance.

It is easy to tell that lots of effort was put into the performance.
