Comprehension	Excellent Project displays an extensive understanding of the characters, plot, and theme in the novel.	Good Project displays a clear understanding of the characters, plot, and theme in the novel.	Satisfactory Project displays a sufficient understanding of the characters, plot, and theme in the novel.	Fair Project displays a minimal understanding of the characters, plot, and theme in the novel.	Poor Project does not display an understanding of the characters, plot, and theme in the novel.
Creativity	Excellent Project has extremely creative and original ideas.	Good Project has several creative and original ideas.	Satisfactory Project has some creative and original ideas.	Fair Project has minimal creativity and original ideas.	Poor Project has little to no creative and original ideas.
Rhythm scheme	Excellent Rhythmic scheme was well thought out, apparent and creative.	Good Rhythmic scheme was well thought out and apparent.	Satisfactory Rhythmic scheme was evident but was awkward in some places.	Fair Rhythmic scheme was evident, awkward throughout most of the song.	Poor There was little attempt at putting rhythm into the lyrics.
Team Work	Excellent Group members are always cooperative and on task. Work is equally divided.	Good Group members are usually on task and cooperative. Work is equally divided for the most part.	Satisfactory Group members are sometimes off task and/or uncooperative. Some students do slightly more work than others.	Fair Groups members are rarely cooperative and usually off task. Some students do much more work than others.	Poor Group members are off task and not cooperative. One student does all of the work.

Fair Project was presented to class and sung with inadequate clarity, low volume and little expression.	Poor Project was presented to class and sung without clarity, very low volume and no expression.
