Poetry Anthology
Students will create a poetry-zine that will include 5 original poems: 2 free verse (1 non-fiction & 1 fiction), 1 haiku, 1 acrostic with alliteration, and 1 lyric with figurative language. At least one poem will be presented orally. Your poetry-zine must also include an introductory "Dear Reader" letter explaining why the student picked his/her theme and a 3-5 paragraph reflection discussing the project pros and cons. Students will also include some type of art form (original or otherwise) that best represents poetry-zine theme.
