Creative Problem Solving - Going Green
Being able to take care of the Earth and its resources is a very real issue in this day and age. Students will be divided into small groups and will choose a building in their community (school, restaurant, store, home, etc) and will figure out what its current carbon footprint is. Groups will then be asked to come up with ways for the building to decrease its carbon footprint. Projects will be written out as a business plan and presented to the building’s owner.
