Poster Poster The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to their chosen colony in a creative and colorful poster. Spelling, Grammar, & Punctuation	Excellent Capitalization and punctuation are correct throughout the presentation. There are no or very few grammatical errors.	Good Capitalization and punctuation are mostly correct throughout the presentation. There is less than 3 grammatical error on the presentation.	Developing Capitalization and punctuation are minimal throughout the presentation. There are less than 4 grammatical errors on the presentation.	Beginning There is no capitalization and punctuation throughout the presentation.There are many grammar or mechanical errors on the presentation.
Pictures	Excellent 5 pictures are used on the poster.	Good 4 pictures are used on the poster.	Developing 3 pictures or less are used on the poster.	Beginning No pictures are used on the poster.
Organization	Excellent The poster is creative, clear, and well-organized. Poster is of exceptional quality and presentation. Exceptional attention to craftsmanship and detail. Work Quality & Effort	Excellent The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the learner is proud of his/her work. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.	Developing Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Beginning Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
