Band Rehearsal Prep Requirements Used as an all-purpose organizer for Grade 6 & 7 Band students. This outlines what the boys need to do to obtain top marks for their rehearsal prep component. St. George's Band Rehearsal Prep
	Good 5 pts	Fair 3 pts	Poor 1 pts
Punctuality 25%	Good Student is always on time, ready to go at the 8:00 bell.	Fair Student is not ready by the 8:00 bell 1-3 times	Poor Student is regularly late (more than 3 times)
Organization 25%	Good Student has instrument, music and stand at every rehearsal	Fair Student forgets one of instrument, music or stand 1-3 times	Poor Student regularly (more than three times/term) comes to rehearsal missing instrument, music or stand.
Attitude 25%	Good Student displays an attentive attitude and puts forth a high level of effort. Student shows initiative in completing activities without reminder	Fair Student displays an attentive effort for the majority of rehearsal, and shows a satisfactory level of effort in completing class activities.	Poor Student is often distracted, talks when others are talking, or does not demonstrate an appropriate level of effort in rehearsal.
instrument Care 25%	Good Student demonstrates excellent awareness of instrument care. Student oils valves/slide regularly and properly, without reminder. All facets of the instrument are kept in working order and cared for appropriately.	Fair Student requires 1-3 reminders to maintain instrument properly. Student demonstrates incorrect maintenance 1-3 times.	Poor Student does not demonstrate appropriate care for the instrument. Student needs to be reminded more than 3 times to conduct regular maintenance.
