	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Journal	Poor Students have 1-2 journal entries	Fair Students have 3-4 journal entries that somewhat explain where the culture came from, why they traveled, talks about the journey, job in America and how they influenced Ohio.	Good Students have 5 journal entries that completely explain where the culture came from, why they traveled, talks about the journey, job in America and how they influenced Ohio.
Travel Poster	Poor Students have a poster that is not creative and does not give immigrants a reason to travel to America.	Fair Students have a poster that is either colorful OR gives immigrants a reason to travel to America.	Good Students have a poster that is colorful AND gives immigrants a reason to travel to America.
Presentation	Poor Students do not give a presentation to the class on their culture.	Fair Students give a presentation on their culture that does not contain a poem, play, play, story or journal entries.	Good Students give a presentation on their culture that does include a poem, play, story or journal entries.
